Shallow Foundations
Our team is experienced in constructing shallow foundations, ideal for buildings with lighter loads, usually domestic storage buildings, including sheds, patios and temporary structures. We ensure that the foundation is in direct contact with the soil, effectively transferring the load whilst keeping costs and regulations at a minimum.
Deep Foundations
We offer deep foundation solutions for structures requiring additional support due to soil conditions or load requirements. Our services include the construction and installation of pile foundations.
Piling Services
We provide comprehensive piling services, including driven, bored, and screw piles. Our piling solutions are designed to offer maximum support and are executed precisely to meet even the most rigorous engineering standards.
Foundation Piling Installation Stages:
Piles are driven: Following excavation, steel pile casings are driven into the ground as guided by a layout drawing until achieving the load capacity specified by the structural engineer.
Ground beam is installed: After the pile casings are positioned, they are cut to the designated height and overlaid with pre-fabricated steel cages. Steel bars are then dropped into the pile casings and spliced to the cells to maximise strength. The assembly undergoes inspection and receives approval from a building control officer before concrete laying commences.
Concrete is poured and levelled: Concrete is poured into the trench, filling the pile casings and covering the steel cages. This completes the piled foundation. The concrete is levelled, and the project is handed back to the contractor to begin building work.
